It has the general performance of a 2008 Formula1 car, passed through thousands of miles testing. Fine designed in engine, gearbox, suspension, brake, aerodynamics, tyres and so on to make every player to enjoy their and exciting and diverting driving experience.

USEAGE

"MATRIX" for modders n players to apply the addon the any mods they required.


"@ BMW Sauber F1.08" which is a NEW series (rFM) and use 2 BMW Sauber F1.08 cars. However, the original one can be ABSOLUTELY use NORMALLY. It DO NOT overwrite any files except the TrackConfigsBase.ini which is COMPLETELY UNIMPLEMENTED in original mod.

ENGINE

19000rpm high performance engine. EBS is ban and it has no BOOST system (which is suit for KERS)

Power: 567KW@17500rpm?320Nm@15500rpm
Temp: 102-110 (optimum 106)


GEARBOX

seamless gearbox with close gears, smart auto-shifting assistance.


SUSPENSION

Revised base on BMW F1.07. Excellent kerb riding and high speed corners performance.


BRAKE

Power: 4000Nm at maximum
Temp: 300-1100 (optimum 600-800)


AERODYNAMICS

Similar downforce level with BMW F1.07. There are 2 packages, one is standard package, the other Monza package (will be auto fixed in "Monza" circuit). It has 40 settings in standard while 20 in Monza. Appropriate slip stream effect and front wing damage.


TYRES

There are 4 dry compounds supplyed by Bridgestone in 2007 and 2008. Maybe wet compounds will available according car models. 3 slipcurve inherited form BMW F1.07. Multivariate wearing curve with high duration. Load and press, rolling Resistance, heat, grip coefficient are all under refined design.

optimum Temp: 110
It will auto select 2 compounds which supplyed by Bridgestone in 2007 and 2008, as long as the circuts are naming right below. H means Hard, M means Medium, S means Soft, SS means Super Soft.

tommy I've been playing F1 with your patch for a few day now, here are my conclusions:
- when going to the car setup, and moving the two sliders for speed, the game says a top speed, but I can't seem to get there not matter how long the line is
- when going through Eau rouge for example, if I am just little off the ideal line the car slides and I loose about 20-30 KM/H...this is not real(even on whet track the cars wheren't sliding like that this year, remember me of F1 99-2002). I tried different levels of over/understeer and lower/higer values for the wings.....not a big difference
- the top speed of the car shoud be higher(even Fsone 2007 is faster)
- also the breakes shoud be a little better
- the car oversteers alot when going into a corner and then when exiting the corner it understeers(feels like there is alot of grip and then no grip) also not real
- downshifting shoud alow the car to oversteer but not as much as it does now(feels a little like CTDP 2005, that was a different age)
- going over the kerbs, no matter how soft he suspension is, affects to much the handling of the car, not real again in these days the cars are flying over the huge kerbs at Monza at high speed and come instantly to groud without the driver loosing the car
I really like how the car responds when going into a corner with the wrong gear. Only if the car would "know" that it's in the right gear when exiting the corner and over/understeer the way i made the setup along with the previous notes would make physic patch perfect.
Thx alot again for your great work and for sharing. Please take my observations in a constructive manor, I don't mean to criticize.

This can easily be implented on every MOD you want. Edit the VEH file and put the HDV, gears, engine, tyres etc from this package in for example the Vehicles\MMG...\2007season folder.. or the Vehicles\BMWF108 root folders
