Description (Click to toggle Visibility)

I have been promising this for a long time, and after receiving a number of email requests here it is complete with a new aiw ( thanks MotorFx ) at least 70 % of the textures are new.
I have renewed and also removed some objects, pit areas recreated in period style, i have also attempted to add logos and signs in the correct period format.

This is a rework of my previous GTR1 release of Detroit.

The raised manhole covers, narrow track, unforgiving barriers, and slippy track are an attempt at recreating the condition of the track in the years it was used, the drivers complained of these factors at the time so now you can also.

I would like to add that track is a conversion by myself from the original and great work done by Ronin Jai for F1/C some years ago,The actual hardwork of building the track and 3d model is all down to Ronin.

I have added a small update to cure Startlight and lighting problems this can be found at my original post at RSC and below.

NOTE FROM RFC: 1.01 includes the startlight and other fixes.

Excellent recreation of the downtown circuit, although some buildings were different back in those days (e.g. Cobo Center and Hotel Ponchatrain. Otherwise excellent work. Sadly such good accuracy confirms what I though in the eighties: This has to be the worst F1 circuit ever (coming from a Detroiter).
