Description (Click to toggle Visibility)

This is going to take some time ...

For those of you who liked Desert Mesa and wanted MORE ...

More is coming in the way of 25 miles of a journey from desert to mountain terrain ... expanding upon the Desert Mesa concept track.

The Complex will include:

Desert Mountain Lake course, 25 miles (40,235 meters) of various driving terrain.
(Both in Tarmac & Dirt) 17-19 minutes per lap

Lake course, 10.7 Miles (Dirt & Tarmac) 5.5 to 7 minutes per lap
(Pre-alpha link below)

Mountain Course, 15.5 Miles (Dirt & Tarmac) 11+ minutes per lap (could be faster, I just have not made a full lap without spinning!)

2.5 mile Hydroplane track will run outside the small Island ...

The tracks are shaping up nicely, in-game and drivable.

Planned for an April release ... time permitting.

You need to check with Scott, the maker of the Hydro ... he had my beta version and was working around with it ... I have not touched it for years ...

Can't wait for this race circuit complex to be completed. I got MotoFactor's Jet Ski division.

Keep going DDawg! Just a few things to toss at u. Maybe a Silk section and a street-road area like some of the real distance courses have.

Hey DDawg, I've got a new animated water shader I'd like to put on this track. I'll contact you via email.

No, we were going to race tug boats and oil tankers!

All joking aside, Yes, That is exactly the plan ... Scott had already did a rather quick working track as a proof of concept ...

I dropped the ball and gave up on this track as it was proving to be a ENORMOUS task and quite probmatic ...

But I couldn't resist not bringing it back into the fold ... I want this track done with a passion.

As It will be the Longest and the Highest in rFactor to date if I finish it in my lifetime ...

I am a "TEAM of ONE" I make my tracks solo ... usually only getting help on cameras ...

This track is a monster ... it will not be liked by many ... it is a track for real driving ... as if you think you can "mash and go" ... you will be wrecking often ...

Quite an ambitious project, but I'm sure it will be top-notch, like the rest of your tracks. Been drivin' the heck outta "Accellerama", "Diablo Hills/Devil's Mtn.", and "New Ridge Valley" as of late. Thank you for sharing your 'labor of love'

Yeah ... that is an old link. I unfortunately lost all of my progress of this track when I had a Hard drive failure ... I had an earlier version backed up and finally loaded it up and decided to resume work.

I forgot how huge this track really was! and from what I have learned from my previous tracks ... It was a good thing I prolonged this project.

It's good to see this one alive again! I guess I missed the road course link before.

I'll be downloading and having a go at it tonight.
