My first ever track for rFactor. It's a fictional track dedicated to Dan Wheldon who was killed in the crash during an Indycar race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, October 11th, 2011.
Located in the mountains, the 4.26 km/ 2.65 mi natural terrain road course contains twisty corners which are mixed up with significant elevation changes. It probably wouldn't be a best fit for F1 cars though it's possible to race it in there. However, it'd be a best fit for Le Mans cars. The is very challenging, some corners have a progressive bankings allowing to run a little bit faster on a high side of a corner than on a low side.
It'd be difficult to overtake there, though it's possible with some places capable for 2-way fight.
The most possible release date of a beta version. There are a few bugs there, a significant amount of work on AIW is ahead (although it's currently present, the cars are running well below the competitive level)
I used a magic piece of programming art the Bob's Track Builder for terrain, track surface and materials, Google Sketchup for the 3d modelling, wonderful 3DSimED and GIMP for creating the textures
