// Welcome To VHR Stockcar [2013 Edition]
• March 31, 2013 - 1.3 update has been released, various updates and improvements have been made to make your VHR racing experience that much better. New drafting packages for the Sprint Cup and the Nationwide series in regards to Super speedways and speedways. I have listed below some of the updates that have been in the 1.3 update. Overall the 1.3 update should provide some exciting racing on the track(s) this year. When you have installed the 1.3 update you will notice a new folder in each vehicle make on the Cup side called "Retro", this is a special treat for you guys....they should look good out on the track. On a side note, VHR will be moving over to rFactor 2 at some point this year, more info will be released and a beta later this year. I am also working on a super speedway series that will be broadcasted and cash prizes will be offered, stay tuned for more information coming soon.
-Updated Speedway and Super speedway drafting, adjusted the base drag a bit to keep in line with the Q times.
-Update pit and pace speeds on tracks that needed adjusting.
-Updated Sprint Cup upgrade.ini files to load the proper side windows when in cockpit view at some tracks.
-Updated damage file in regards to tire cutting down when hitting objects.
-Nascar rule package update, rear sway bar added to road course tracks and removed the roof cam at non SS tracks for the Sprint Cup Series.
-Updated Road America track configuration file so the Nationwide and Camping World trucks would load the proper tires.

When I download the file, it comes up as "this file contains invalid data". What should I do?

I just downloaded this yesterday and I think something needs to be done with the AI on the Vegas track. The cars keep smashing into the walls and they can't get to the track. Over all it's a great mod, but the AI needs a bit of an education.
Any ideas?

Yeah I have all aid and settings disabled through the (playername).plr file. Using realfeel and leo for forcefeedback and changed all controller.ini settings to optimal. I have posted my settings in the GP1979 mod comments if your interested.

i have to agree with leaves, so much grip is not even funny anymore. Looks like im sticking to SSS for another season...

One thing, Ive got the right front tyre going through the bonnet here, looks weird. Possible fix ?

Thanks for the suggestions Jokersfury. I have tried everything and nothing seems to help (the tires just grip no matter what, so much grip I cannot lose a race.- I believe this is the reason this mod has such a low rating on rfactorcentral. Just strange that it only effects some people.
