V8Factor Unleashed 1.10

Hi All

The much awaited full 2011 season update has been released.

This update includes all cars for all rounds of the chanpionship. A lot of long hours and research has gone into this update, so we know you will all appreciate this just before we get into the 2012 season.

***************************************** Please note ***************************************
The 2011 skin update has a changed naming structure for the skins, so you need to delete the Ford and Holden Folders from within the 2011 season before you install the 2011 skin update. Otherwise, you will end up with duplicate skins for the rounds already released in V1.1

For all season, you will need to have V8Factor Unleashed (V8FU) v1.1 installed first

Australian V8 Supercars MOD for rFactor

This install includes:
- Base Install (the core files for running the MOD)
- Community Edition cars (ideal for league use)
- Championship Season 2010 cars
- Championship Season 2011 cars


!!!IMPORTANT!!!
Before proceeding with this installation we recommend you uninstall "V8Factor Unleashed BETA v0.9" AND "V8Factor Unleashed Add-on Season 2010 v1.0"

NOTE: Our old V8Factor 2006 v1.3 mod is a completely separate MOD and is not required for V8FU. It can remain installed or be removed without any problem.


Installation:
------------
Follow the instructions in this Installer. Please make sure you select the correct path to your rFactor installation. Files will be automatically installed.


Updates in this version:
-----------------------
* Ford Falcon FG lower level detail models (LODs) added
* Ford Falcon BF lowest level detail model (LOD) added
* Numerous other model tweaks
* Visual tyre compound changes on track (now possible to see who is using sprint tyres and who is using enduro tyres)
* Improved headlight texture and tweaked projection settings
* Headlights now use 'flare' style
* Physics improvements including:
- tyre heating/wear for both compounds
- grip reduction for sprint tyres
- engine cooling
- camber adjustment has more increments
- Radiator blanking (Grill Tape) has more increments
- Numerous aero improvements (including moving radiator and brake duct points of force to front of car instead of middle)
* New menu music tracks
* Inclusion of updated FULL Season 2010 and additional 2010 car skins
* Inclusion of FULL Season 2011
* Updated Category filter for Community Edition cars to include make & model
* Upgrades order re-shuffled to be more intuitive
* New installer including LZMA compression


Known Issues:
------------
* Old 2006 mod cockpits with minor alterations are being used. New cockpits are underway but not yet complete. There is no guarantee they will be released.
* V8FU has been built to perform best in DX9 mode. Although DX8 and DX7 modes should work fine on most systems, those modes have not been extensively tested and bugs or unexpected visuals may be experienced.


Special Features:

UPGRADES: We have utilised rFactor's upgrades system to allow for more customisation options. You can select different levels of cockpit detail for example, change wheels, change exhaust position, and even change steering wheel types and readout displays. Make sure you take a look at the upgrades system and try some of the changes. NOTE: These upgrades are visual only and have no performance differences. Exhaust positions should be taken into account if painting new skins.

Hi guys going to start by saying great mod! But I have a few problems that I would like to see resolved (noob modder) ok when I select the 2009-2010 seasons my cars are locked to the not so pretty soft whitewall tyres and the rest if my seasons are locked to 1 colour of "Dunlop" signage on the tyre wall.. How do I resolve this? Also the wheels for the 2008-2007 seasons and I think 2009 have dissapered for just me not AI I literally have no rims... And a few of my other mods (wtcc etc) the wheels seem to have a random paintjob like Dunlop instead of rims.. Any help with any of my problems is much appreciated! Sorry if this post is all over the place great work guys! 1 more thing before I forget how do I install the 2011 skin update? Cheers guys!!

Hi all! I have been a fan of the normal fuel exhaust flames of the past years than being a fan of the current ethanol fuel (E85) exhaust flames.

I don't know if there is any enthusiast out there fancy that type of mean and beasty exhaust flames in the current V8FU mod.

As the current version of the mod features the purplish ethanol fuel exhaust flames, I prefer to give the yellowish normal fuel exhaust flames a go in them.

Here is the download link to replace the backfire from the current backfire to the previous backfire, just like how the backfire of the V8Factor 2006 season looks.
