Touring Car Legends Portugal Add On 1.20

We are now releasing the first half of the mod which contains the cars from 1988 to 1995, containing 69 skins.

The second half will have the skins from 1987 backwards, adding another 80 skins.
In addition to the championships we've also updated the physics for the production versions of the Cosworth, M3 and E190, meaning they now can be raced in Group N too.
We spent months and in some cases years gathering info and photos on the cars as some had almost no photo coverage.
The mod can be installed on top of the original TCL, but if you don't have TCL it will still work (only with the Portuguese cars/championships).

Eventually we plan to include the missing cars that were meant originally for TCL (Alfa GTV6, Jaguar XJS and MG Metro) but also some brand new ones like BMW 528i E28, Toyota Carina E, Opel Kadett GSi, Opel Astra GSI, Ford Escort RS2000, Ford Sierra Saphire among others.

We're looking for UVW mappers and a car modeler, by the way.

Really really nice!!! But I got one question: does this mod require the previous TCL, or can I install it as a standalone?

This is great news, can't wait for the Jag. Any chance you could do an 1985 spec holden commodore (pre sporting evoloution)? And how about the Camaro that raced in group a in the U.K in 82?

We didn't ask for specific permission for the following reasons: 1) we did not convert or modified original 3D content 2) we have posted our work on the forum where the very few original remaining TCL creators hang out 3) This is an Add On and it's even called Touring Car Legends 4) 1 of the 2 people involved in this release is Alex V which you can also find on the ORIGINAL TCL readme file.

We also haven't asked for permission to Volvo, Ford, Alfa Romeo, BMW or any of the displayed brands on the skins.

Why should any such permission be necessary? Something additional was created for an existing mod and offered for free. Be thankful for the work other people do and if you don't want to install and use the addon, simply don't.
