Between the wars, the "Grosser Bergpreis der Schweiz" was probably the most demanding hillclimb event in the world (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klausenrennen). Today it's held as a memorial race for oldtimers roughly every 3 years (http://www.klausenrennen.com/). The combination of narrow and wide track sectors, dizzying serpentines and a long straight severals kms long, all in a exciting environment, make this track an unique experience.

The track is modeled after the current layout, only a few pictures of the historic layout could be found. So sadly the historic version mostly on gravel had to be left as an exercise to others :).

The dimensions are comparable to the Nordschleife: 21 km long, more than 130 turns and 1237m difference in altitude.

The fictional Sprint edition covers about 1/3 of the orginial track. It leads from Linthal up to the border stone between Uri and Schwyz, just before the long Urnerboden straight. With narrow tracks, and the old road parts are REALLY narrow, and hidden corners this is probably the hardest part of the track.

In all sessions, the timing works as usual. Online racing has not been tested yet but should be possible by using a qualification session. The AIW has been setup for fuel use, but not tuned at all for racing against the AI.

Hi. Hello, I have a problem with this track. When I run it, I have a back office with the following message: Error loading texture Sky for material SKY. Do you have a solutions please ? Thank you. Best regards.

I had some troubles with the collision detection, had to rework the steel barriers, remove their collision triggers, replace with extra invisible collision objects. Seems some objects remained untouched. Maybe the sky problem, perhaps you have to change to desktop and back into game to see the error message, it would make the game hang.

Dä absoluti hammer.... Ich chum ursprüglich vo det...und kann de streckä abschnitt...Muess sägä würklich guet troffä, zum teil huerä äng den wieder breiter, sogar hotel staht am richtigä ort. Witers so!!! Echt geilo. Machsch du strecki nu witers bis ah pass höchi? oder sogar uf der andä sitä wieder nizi, richtig unterschächen???

Looks great on pictures...but hangs on loading :-( Any other tracks which loading here works fine... Any solution?

Very nicely done m8. Nice track and FPS friendly. One gripe tho....u have some invisible bits sticking out which make for a nice accident if u hit them I hit 1 and rolled 9 times!! lol. Another one up near the top sticks out 3 feet from the edge of the road. Just where u should be coming out of that corner and BANG.....stop dead :S

Sir, you have done a lovely job... I hiked Linthal-Klausenpass a few summers ago, absolutely one of the most picturesque vistas imaginable... Cheers for bringing back some memories and establishing a classic in rF - stunning work. If you need any more material, feel free to contact me - plenty of pictures from the route.

I have a fps issue with this track: too much objects are displayed in the in-car mirrors, is it possible to fix this issue? Try to put some object with VisGroups=(32) Thanks a lot.

Very nicely done. Been watchin' this from the beginning & I am impressed. Frame rates are great for so much detail. Cain't wait to see what's comin' next. Thanks for the stellar track.
