Post a FSONE 2009 Comment
After a 3+ year hiatus I've re-installed rFactor on a newer PC and copied over many of the older files; including FSOne 2009. That was my all-time favorite mod. Installed the latest version of Austin. Really nice. I've been to the GP there a few times and driving the FSOne 2009 cars have an uncanny resemblance to watching the real thing.
Turn speeds, braking points, lines through turns are quite similar to the 2014 cars which seemed a bit odd. Definitely less bottom end torque yet the high-revving engines just seem to keep pulling where the ERS units seem to poop out.
I'm still impressed with the level of detail of graphics and exceptional physics. International Pro Modding. I hope they've found a very valuable commercial purpose for their exceptional capability.

I gotta question: why there is no engine braking in that mod ? I mean, it´s always in a F1 car. FSONE 2010 and LMT 2010 are the only mods of the latest F1 ara without engine braking.
But would somebody like to help how to add the engine braking into that mod ? I mean, I got used to it so much, I don´t realy break with the brake pedal. If I break for a corner, I push the brake pedal just a little bit not to lock up the tyres while downshifting very fast. On this way I´m able to stop the car quickly and brake very lake. But with that Mod I can downshift from 7th to 1st gear in 1 second, the car´s don´t gonna stop and the engine is not blowing up.
Please, if there´s a modder or somebody who understands the play with those physics, please help me. I just wanna change it for private purpose, no league, nothing, just for myself.

Guys I will be downloading and trying this mod.
One little thing in your notes:
KERS; It does not in real life use any fuel at all. By harvesting kinetic energy from the rear axle under brakes (a lot like a brake does) it returns spent energy instead of turning it into heat.
Unlike an over rev or richer mix there is no incremental fuel useage at all.

can anyone help me out plz?
every round I catch up with ai in the turns, but when we drive on the straights they suddenly drive away very quickly.
when I spec them they drive some straights in 7th gear in the australian grand prix, while I only get till the 6th gear.
I don't really know what te problem is here is it the ai or me?

There are 2 versions like the other poster said, one has "League Edition" or "LE" physics for use with leagues, the other has different physics per car and trust me it is quite accurate and realistic. One of the best overall F1 mods for rFactor, take it from a true hardcore fan! :-)
