OK all works great. For those with no sound you have to have the original rTrainer rF3 installed.
So why get this MOD ??
All is the same as rF3 there is no difference.
I see no gain. you are using all the same files as the rTrainer rF3.
The only difference is the addition of more skins and teams.

I agree with Sir Wheelie this sound issue is a joke , I also have installed the original rfactor sound pack as suggested at sim raceway the home of 1 click, and still nothing.

There is sound as it uses the default sound files already installed, for those who installed from the rFactor DVD.

I may be wrong, but I think you had to have the original F3 mod (or whatever it was called) that came with the original install of rFactor. I think it was part of the Open Wheel Challenge.
