Description (Click to toggle Visibility)

With this version we want to "refresh" the F1-Classic 67 mod and we hope you enjoy the ride with these fabulous cars.

Thats fact, all models are from the mother of all sims GPL. THX Papyrus, THX GPL community.

As a base we have used the F1 Classic Version 2.3 and modified according to our expectations.
In the beginning it was only the physics part, later we decided to add new sounds, new 3d models for the rims, suspension, brakes and so on, new textures....

Ultimately became the planned 2 weeks Update, a 4-month "F1 Classic Reloaded".

THX slimJim for the permission.

Please deinstall the Version 2.3 before installing the F1 67 Classic reloaded

To be true to history, they had Cam and Pawl locking diff (no adjustments, no slip, just locked or unlocked) until the early 70s when Salisbury Limited Slip Differentials showed up. History is very sketchy here...

"The setup for the Cam and Pawl differential is similar to the Spool and Detroit
Locker: Softer springs, stiffer sway bar, and increase in caster." --

Salisbury rarely had more that 3 or 4 ram angles, for power or for coast.
They had clutches. Adding clutch disk can augment preload if the same springs are used but adjusting pressure with softer springs and adding clutches does soften the transition between power and coast. (High preload = low # of clutch)

When it's Preload and not Clutch:
"If the car has a bad transition from braking-acceleration try to decrease the preload.
If the car is not responsive enough from braking-acceleration try to increase preload."

This very little tool patches x86 executables in order to let them have 4GB (instead of only 2) of virtual memory on x64 platforms.

Thanks for the mod guys, I have been out of sim racing for a least 5 years. Just came back a few months ago. I have downloaded quite a few mods recently, this one is the best one I have run across hands down. A ton of fun on the F179 tracks. A handful to drive, great sounds, cant say enough. Thanks for your hard work, I have been a member here since rFc first started and this is the first time I ever left a comment. That's how much I like it.
