The Citroën BX 16Valve is based on the regular BX, that has sold in millions all over the world. It is for many people the only experince they ever had with hydraulic suspension and often they were serviced by incompetent mechanics, giving them a bad reputation for being unreliable and expensive to drive.
However many still exist because of them being fairly resistant to rust, and if taken care of the right way, they are comfortable, cheap and reliable for many years to come.
This mod will be based on the top-model, the BX 16Valve which in its 2. edition was only produced in 3.944 pcs. It is based on original specs with original engine torque curve and will also handle like the original, being a little soft and so.
Specs:
1,9L 16-Valve inline 4 @ 148Hp at 6500rpm -
Acceleration 0-100 km/h @ 7,9 seconds -
Top speed @ 213 km/h -
Full hydraulic autoleveling suspension
Anders is doing the modelling from IRL photos of my car, while I adjust the performance and sound. To make a comparison from real to modded car, have a look here: http://www.bilgalleri.dk/html/gal_visbil.asp?ID=11264&ipc=46137 and if you're also fond of Citroën BX, we have a danish club at http://bxclub.dk .

Any chance of making the helmet just an accessory (pre-installed when you buy the car, option to remove it) ? It'd look awesome on street (avg. driving) shots.
Cheers,

Hey guys. I can't see steering wheel's movement in cockpit view, everything else is OK ( sound, lighting...) Is this because this is a beta version or you can see steering wheel's movement?. There is a video in rfactorcentral called ''rollover'' where you can see steering wheel's movement perfectly in that view ( that view is called ''cockpit'', isn't it).Could somebody help me?
Sorry for my bad english and thanks !!!

COOL! Thanks for sharing this WIP. I've been watching it for awhile. I drove it last night and it was alot of fun. Looks good, too. Great job.
For lacase, you can run this under an all cars rfm. If you really want it to have it's own rfm, take an "all cars" rfm and rename it. Change the rfm vehicle filter to match the tag line under Classes= in the VEH file. The engine sounds are the rtec engine sounds that are part of a base rfactor install. I think the rtec engine is even part of a lite install. All other sounds look to be rfactor generics as well. You shouldn't need a separate sounds folder.
