Hello Carlo and Dave. You have done just the best addon for rFactor. Amazing.
I need help, pls!
I´m having the same problem as Raalfx2.
It keeps on repeating the driver who took the pole all the time, like '***DriverName*** has just made pole
position' in different variations and that without any breaks.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

catarM and Sooty1977 - have you tried running a test session before running a full race? I had exactly the same problem as you and noticed that it only occurred when I ran a race session. I tried a test session followed by a race session and the spotter plugin worked fine.

Ok I got it almost working.When I say "John" or "Patrick",they respond to me.
but when i say something else like,"position" or "traffic" or whatever,nothing happends.

Hi,
I was looking all over the place, but i could not find a solution for my problem.

It's very annoying and I have to turn off the spotter. Is there anything I can do to resolve this? Besides that, it's amazing.

@Diromo, Pilfius and SAPI are 2 different things Pilfius uses SAPI. If you don't want to use them, you can uncheck the "Enable Voice Commands" checkbox in SpotterConfig. If you want to uninstall them, use the windows "Add/Remove Programs" in control panel

Hi. How to avoid error on rfactor start or how to delete Pilfius? I don't want to use it. But I cant find uninstaller for Pilfius (SAPI) :/

For now, if you convert all the wave files to mp3, it might work. I have'nt tired it. In the future, when I find the time, I will start a french soundpack... will try my best to fake the "français de france" accent otherwise i'll do a "canadian french/quebec/normal for me" accent ;)

I have tried to get spotter to work, but as soon as i try and configure the Buttons on my Steering Wheel, rFactor carshes. This only happens when Spotter & Pifius are installed.
Any suggestions ?
Also is it possible to use Spotter without Voice Recognition as i want to run rFactor on Windows Server 2008 and Speech Recognition is not included.

OK, how ever i did it, next problem is, my spotter doesnt hear an speak with me.
What must i do that it works?
PiLfIuS! works now, spotter is activ and tell me the standards but when i speak to John oder Patrick i became no answer.
The list is in PiLfIuS! inside, i can see it.

When i start rF then i became a mistake:
PiLfIuS!.exe - unkown software exeption (0x000008f)
and then i must press OK and the prog is ending.
Spotter himlseft is running, but i can`t use the voice commands.
rF 1255 DL Version
what must i do?

Why do I have to download SpeechSDK51.exe every single time I try to install Spotter V2?
I already downloaded it, and installed it, too. How Can I tell the installer NOT to download it again?

First of all great software and well done . I installed 2.0 version and was getting " Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error" then I updated to 2.02 and still the same thing , soon as I hit "Race" button Rfactor crashes and error comes up.Insaled ,uninstalled few times but still no luck. version 1.1 works treat...any ideas? I'm running XP SP2 Framework2 and I also updated to 3.5. Thanks

Tormen, just disable voice recognition and you save a few kB of memory since VR is realized by 3rd party soft. Single plugin is 500kB large. I don't think so it is worth to make separate version without VR communication routine.

Please create a Spotter Plugin 2.0 Lite!!!!!!!! for minimum ram use.....just relevant informations!
Many users don't need command voice and others thinghs....
Me nd many others, just like some box essencials sounds, like tyres, distance, oponents in box, etc.....

thank you for the post. i will give that a shot. i didnt know that was how the PTT worked for the spotter. maybe you could have an onscreen icon or something in a future release to let the user know when comms are open and when they are not?

im having problems with the voice commands.
anyone have a detailed tutorial about what needs to be set and what and where? i know my mic is working because i have gone through all the voice training with no problems.

I love this add on!!!!!
Formula BMW 2.2 pit/garage screen is very choppy with this running. Is there a workaround? Aside from turning off the plugin?
