This one is using real data actually provided to the team by Epsilon Euskadi. That other mod your talking about has nothing real about it, everything is made up. |

I want clarification from a member of the design team on their data. If you play the Internationale du mans mod, the cars are significantly faster (by up to 10 seconds on some tracks) and they are the same regulations. May I find out which is actually using the proper data?

May I ask how many..(if any) different prototypes are in this mod? Are there any GT class cars as well? Sorry for the noob question.. I've been reading some great things about this mod but havent been able to figure out if there are any different types of cars included. Thanks |

This mod feels so realistic to drive. The detail in the cockpit is amazing and really adds to the sense of immersion. Physics are very good and challenging to find the right setup.
Utterly brilliant, thanks guys :) |

I have now completed 2-20 lap races at paul richard HTTT and in both cases the AI failed to pit. How do I change AI action so they will pit. Incidentally, the cars only carry a max of 13 laps of fuel. Any ideas? |

I have never seen these cars actually race, but the look, feel, and drivability of this sim is awesome! Congratulations on a great sim. Thank you so much. |

Yes,but Spa is a long circuit, and the Peugeot 908 lapped Spa in 1.58, even the petrol Lola Aston Martin and Oreca Judd managed 2m laps. The Epsilon, at the time, wasn't sorted, it's getting quicker all the time.
At Silverstone F1 pole was around 1.21, the LMS pole this year will be around 1.28 (1.31 last year). |

I've just checked the results of LMS qualifying results for Spa, and Epsilon posted a best time of 2:07.051. Copare that to the Raikkonen's 1:45.508 and you'll see that 20 seconds isn't too much of a loss... LMPrototypes ARE lot slower than F1. EVERYthing is slower than F1. |

'Give me some time and my best time will probably end up around 1.14.xxx on mid - ohio ..Not fast enough?! :D'
Quickest I've achieved so far is 1.15.010, I could probably knock half a second, tops, off that. |

'I managed a low 1:41 around Silverstone without too much setup work...that's over 20 seconds slower than what I can do in the ISI BMW F1.07! Crazy!'
The real car will be racing there in September, I'd be suprised if it was much slower than 1.34, the Peugeot 908 and Lola Aston Martin 1.30 and below.

I tried the car on Sardian 100/250 - there is almost no grip in default setup. Is default setup a typical one, or are these cars just not designed for that kind of track? If I boost front air dam and rear spoiler deflection to max, grip is fine. Also, stupid question but does "prototype" just mean "non-open wheel race car"? |

It's quite startling how much less grip these things have compared to an F1 car! I managed a low 1:41 around Silverstone without too much setup work...that's over 20 seconds slower than what I can do in the ISI BMW F1.07! Crazy! |

it's actually easier to drive the HGT mod than the Euskadis. The tires seem to have very few grip :( |

Guys! what a mod , what a car , what great piece of work you guys made!
I do had a feeling the default setup could be better , that's why probably most comment about the 'rear end' ..
Took it out for just about 15mins on mid- ohio , getting a 1.17.852 ! with an altered setup . I just soften the suspension a bit.
It felt great actually , didn't protest under hard cornering , didn't slide or slip ...but u do need to take care of the tires a bit in the first rounds..after the 3rd it goes like a charm! Just like i can imaging being in the lm-cars with pretty hard tires.
Give me some time and my best time will probably end up around 1.14.xxx on mid - ohio ..Not fast enough?! :D
It's true it's a better car for bigger wider tracks , but it can stand it's own on the smaller ones too , just need a little tweakin' and some persistance to learn to handle it well.
Tnx for this great one!
Wkr

@JAG1977 - I'm all in. I tried & tried @ Mid-Ohio but never could find my comfort zone. I concluded it's not a suitable track for this car. (Another way of saying I stink...but I'm pretty good there in most of the other vehicles...the DTM tin-tops, the Porsche 996/997, the Formula BMW...altho conspicuously inept in the similarly slippery Champ Cars.) Too many fiddly corners to trip you up. If you string all my fast sectors together, you get a sub-1:18 lap, but I made so many compound errors my best lap was never under 1:24. I posted the setup anyway.
Just to see if it's me, I tried the Epsi at that other great, great VLM track, Rouen. Even though it has many of the same characteristics as Mid-O, I fared much better here, with not too many stumbles or offs and a best of 1:48.252. I posted that one, too.
I don't even have Northhamptonshire on my HDD, so I can't help you there, but maybe you can piece together the best of my other setups and finally get your sub-1:38 lap. Cheers!

To the mod creaters, or anyone with experience, does the included FFB ini make a huge difference?
I ask as I've just spent quite some time setting up realfeel, I don't really wish to change the FFB ini once again, plus it feels great already.
'JAG1977: I'll get right one it. May take a coupla days. In the meantime, I'll post setups for Goodwood, Mosport and the fantasy Oldring, which oughta cover the rest of the best.'
Appreciated, I'm determined to achieve a 1.38 at Northamptonshire.

how do you buy a car? you made the the cars 1,200.000 to buy and you only gave the mod 300,000 to start with.... cant buy ANY of the cars for this.... doesent make any sense there. looks nice from the pictures but I cant play it...
thanks for your hard work all the same. |
